Episode 84: Lara Bazelon on All Things Working Motherhood

We are excited to welcome Lara Bazelon on the podcast today to discuss the very important topic of working motherhood. Lara is a lawyer, a law professor at the University of San Francisco Law School, the mother of two, a speaker, and the author of Ambitious Like A Mother: Why Prioritizing Your Career Is Good for Your Kids.

In our conversation with Lara she covers everything from what led her to write and speak about working motherhood, to what the term intensive mothering means, and even how we still don’t hold men to the same standards as women when it comes to balancing their careers with their home life.

We hope this episode serves as a gentle reminder to push mom guilt aside when you’re chasing your dreams and pursuing your passions. There is so much more that we can give because we are working mothers. If you liked this episode, text it to another working mom because we can all use these pep talks along the way!
